Stem usually densely and retrorsely pubescent. Leaf blades 5–16.8 × 2–6 cm, margins ciliate, faces pubescent.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Aug.
Habitat: Montane slopes above treeline, steep hillsides, steep cut banks or sandy loam of rivers
Elevation: 100-1300 m
