Leaves 4–10(–21) × 1–3 mm; blade oblanceolate to linear. Flowers: pollen sacs explanate, 0.6–0.8 mm.
Phenology: Flowering May–Jul(–Aug).
Habitat: Gravelly to clay soils, sagebrush shrublands, juniper woodlands, alpine meadows.
Elevation: 2000–2300(–3700) m.
