Basal leaves: blades and/or lobes 1–3(–4) mm wide, margins usually with linear-oblanceolate lobes, less commonly entire to dentate. Ray corollas drying white to pink or light lavender. 2n = 18, 36.


Phenology: Flowering May–Sep.
Habitat: Sandstone, crevices and shallow soil accumulations between bedding planes, ponderosa pine, pinyon-juniper, Douglas fir–maple, oak-maple
Elevation: 1200–2300 m
