Stems erect, spreading with age, 5–20 dm, glabrous when young, glaucous. Leaves opposite, subsessile; blade oblanceolate or lanceolate, 10–40 mm, margins 4–12-toothed. Inflorescences thyrses, glabrous or sticky-hairy.
