Subshrubs with woody bases. Leaf blades semiterete or flattened, vein 1 or obscure, oblong-lanceolate, lanceolate or linear, fleshy. Perianth segments forming 1.5–2.5 mm scarious wing at maturity, tomentose (rarely almost glabrate).
Distribution
North America, Mexico.
Discussion
